An
angle is an L-shape. Legs may be equal or unequal.
HR angle is designated by its shape, leg dimensions on the exterior,
and its thickness, e.g., L6 x 4 x 1/2. For unequal
leg angles, the dimension of the wider leg is given
first. The angle is 90 degrees unless
special ordered.
Although
there is some overlap, a shape is classified Bar Size
when its greatest dimension (excluding length) is less than
3 inches. It is Structural when at least one of its dimensions
(excluding length) is 3 inches or greater. |
